Microsoft is reportedly announcing a new entry in a “legendary Japanese IP” during its Xbox Developer Direct on January 23. Along with this new game, Microsoft will also show off Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and South of Midnight.

According to Windows Central, this IP has decades of history and “should make a lot of fans happy.” The phrasing is rather vague, so fans have been speculating what the game could be.
